What’s Expected
I shouldn’t grumble, but some days there’s a lot expected of me. Today, for instance, drive to the airport to send Ann off to Arizona, then high tail it back to school to teach a bit, then play with Ollie, then rest a smidge, while Gemma and Saber played and Gretchen walked Rosie, then I got to play with Saber, and then, amazingly, play with Gemma. It’s like I was seeing double!
But my day was not over. Next up was agility class, which is a lot of fun, but let me tell you, it’s work, too. I have to focus, I have hit my contacts, I have to watch carefully for directions and I have to learn all this new stuff like “out” and “right” and “left” and make that scary teeter-totter bang on the ground.
For a dog, there is a lot expected of me and this is partly why, despite the amazingly yummy things Gretchen has put into my dinner, I’m refusing to eat it. I’m just too pooped! Which also means I’m too pooped to do too much on this blog. My apologies, but I think if you look at the photos below, you’ll understand my decision not to eat and not to blog. I am one tired dog and it’s only Tuesday.
Now I shall rest.
Until tomorrow,
Rubin (Photos of the day below!)
